An argument can appear to give reasons while quietly building its conclusion into the starting point. A question can do the same thing by requiring the listener to accept an unestablished claim before answering.
This lesson examines circular reasoning, loaded questions, and false dilemmas. Each restricts what can be considered before the evidence has done its work.
